I’ve always loved being creative–when I was younger, I dedicated tons of time to playing my flute. I took art classes. I did drama. I loved creativity! Now that I’m “older,” I find that I have fewer creative outlets. So my main go to’s are scrapbooking, planning, and MAKING PEARDECKS FOR CLASS! 💻 Oh yea, you heard me! I love making slides for class! It’s like virtual scrapbooking to me lol. My coworker suggested that I begin to share some of my presentations, so here you go: a link to some of my presentations, below. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments.

Here at The Cultural Classroom, we are all about sharing resources–why create a new presentation if one already exists!? My goal is to create a resource library on the major topics covered in the Avancemos level 1 textbook, but to still keep it broad enough so that anyone can use it!

Topics:

AR verbs (part 1)–>

    AR/ER/IR verbs (part 2)–>

    Estar & Ir a + Infinitive–>

*for slide 20, you show student responses and call out the English version of the verbs.   It’s almost like a digital version of “matamoscas”.   The students then move their icon to the Spanish translation.

    Unidad 2 Lección 1: complete (40+ slides)–>

    Unidad 2 Lección 2: complete (~60 slides)–>

*Both lessons for Unidad 2 have a form of Matamoscas. Have the students use the “draggable” function to play this. If you don’t have access to the draggable function, it is possible to do this with the “draw” option & have the students erase their answers to clear the board when they are done.

A great accompaniment to U2! Check out the link here

    Unidad 3 Lección 1: complete–>

    Unidad 3 Lección 2: complete (~66 slides)–>

A fun project that goes with U3L2!!!

FREEBIE!!!!!!!! My famous digital notebooks! Check it out and use it for Lección 1 (U3)

A complimentary lesson to U3’s focus on Puerto Rican culture!

***note, you may want to customize some of the slides with your own Bitmojis/pictures. Just make a copy of the slide so that you can edit it!
