🎉 Free PD w/ ME in July is your invitation to refresh your teaching mojo without spending a dime. I’ll be leading two high-energy sessions packed with culture-rich strategies and ready-to-use resources—and you can join from anywhere. Get professional development links here, snag your seat, and sign up today so we can grow, laugh, and lesson-plan together all summer long! ⤵️

Every year, one of my great joys as the founder of The Cultural Classroom is having the space to share my practices, research, and future endeavors with teachers interested in expanding their cultural acumen, uplifting marginalized voices in the Spanish (+ World Language) classroom, and practical pedagogy in order to transform their curriculums. I accomplish this through my courses, classroom resources, email newsletters + freebies, YouTube videos, and social media posts that I create and share. But I really get to dig deep into my favorite topics, such as methods to incorporate culture in the classroom, interculturality, Afo-latinidad, and so much more at conferences! It is at conferences where I can present even more curated information for your needs. I have done (and continue to do) “The Alphabet Soup” of conferences, coined by fellow educator Joshua Cabral in our first podcast together! However, while in-person conferences are thrilling and amazing, sometimes, they can be prohibitive.

That’s why each year, I make sure to participate in free online conferences (and you can select upgrades & add-ons if you choose)! This July, I’m participating in two FREE online conferences! (more on that in a bit)

Here are some benefits (in my opinion 💃🏽) of FREE online conferences:

  • It’s FREE! You only pay for upgrades and add-ons if you choose them
  • This is QUALITY PD from educators who get you and want to give you tons of practical teacher-inspo!
  • PD certs–enough said. 🙋🏽‍♀️
  • Access to bonus resources-just for attendees!
  • You can watch it from anywhere, even while wearing the comfiest of clothes! No geo or clothing restrictions! 🤣
